'Sexual Orientation' Bill Threatens PA Marriage Amendment

House Bill 300 would make "sexual orientation" and "gender identity" specially protected classes in Pennsylvania law, setting a dangerous legal precedent. A vote is expected in the House State Government Committee on Wednesday, March 11.

This was one of the reasons the California Supreme Court overruled California traditional marriage laws. California placed into law 'sexual orientation' as a protected class. The Court then followed that the State has no "compelling interest" in withholding the title of "marriage" from same-sex couples.
