Pennsylvania For Marriage is a coalition of non-denominational, non-partisan individuals and groups who are working together to advance a Marriage Protection Amendment. The coalition is building awareness and support for the need to pass a Marriage Protection Amendment for the state of Pennsylvania.

The institution of marriage is under attack and the time has come for Pennsylvanians to take action. 30 states have amended their constitutions to protect marriage, but Pennsylvania is not one of them and remains at risk! Pennsylvanians need to amend our State Constitution to protect marriage between one man and one woman from re-definition or legalized "civil unions." But we need your help!

California Court Upholds Voice of the People

The California Supreme Court upheld Proposition 8, the voter initiative that defines marriage to be between one man and one woman. "...the ruling upheld the concept of democracy in America, in which the laws of society are determined by the people through a constitutional legislative process. In this case, the people of California have decreed that marriage is a contract between men and women only, siding with the historical definition of the institution. But regardless of the assurances from the Iowa Legislature, their Defense of Marriage Act did not withstand an assault from a handful of judges.
